Experimental Films & Videos
Kim Anno has been dedicated to experimental film/video since 2010. She began these works as experimental puppet shows, having been influenced by Vietnamese water puppets, she filled tanks of water with objects and shot small narratives with ink and objects matriculating in the water. Over time her focus expanded to include, plants, animals, people, and iconic texts from Ancient Greece, Dante, Virgil, and others. She was emboldened to reinvent the cannon of Western literature and philosophy.
